Project Description:
This work will anticipate & describe the long-term impacts of various technological & other (e.g., demographic & land use) changes on Americans’ travel choices & traffic conditions. In addition to writing up a variety of Year 2050 visions for US cities & passenger travel, we expect to construct & deploy a detailed framework for Toyota’s own applications of Connected Automated & Shared Electric (CASE) vehicle applications. The work is expected to include prospect analysis, model design, policy & practice recommendations, & many case study applications with associated forecasts.
